The Easement preserves critical water filtration and flood control for the regional watershed in perpetuity.

AITCH Conservation Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity focused on environmental conservation. The Foundation operates under its own independent Board of Directors and governance structure and is classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a publicly supported organization under IRC §509(a)(1) and §170(b)(1)(A)(vi). While the Foundation shares common founding leadership with entities of The Howell Legacy Group, it is a separately governed charitable organization and maintains arm's-length relationships with all affiliated entities in accordance with IRC §4958 intermediate sanctions rules.
The Foundation holds a Conservation Easement over approximately 9.35 acres of jurisdictional wetlands within the Welannee Boulevard property in Okaloosa County, Florida, under a Deed of Conservation Easement executed March 4, 2026 and recorded March 9, 2026 as Instrument #3802887 with the Okaloosa County Clerk. The Easement is governed by Florida Statute §704.06 and is held in perpetuity for environmental conservation purposes. Title to the underlying 42-acre parcel is held by AITCH Land Group LLC; the Foundation owns no portion of the property fee simple.
